Some Music I Liked This Week

Moonface and Siinai

With reunion shows in the books, there's a chance we'll see new music from Wolf Parade in the near future. Until then, we can enjoy music from their members. Today, Dan Boeckner's Operators released their debut full-length album Blue Wave. And Spencer Krug will release My Best Human Face under his Moonface moniker in June.

Moses Sumney

The countdown to Pitchfork Music Festival is at less than four months and Moses Sumney is an example of what's to come. By all accounts, he's releasing his debut full-length later this year. If you can't wait for that, there are a couple EPs out there for your listening pleasure.

Ashley Arnwine is the drummer of Pinkwash and she may be the very reason I love this song so much. If you're a sucker for percussion, the way Arnwine plays with tempo and space should satisfy the rhythm in you.
