Some Music I Liked This Week

Rolling Blackouts C.F.

I didn't have a lot of time to check out new tracks this week, but "Clean Slate" by Rolling Blackouts Coastal Feaver did catch my attention. This crew from Australia plans to release their mini-album (how is that different from an EP?), Talk Tight, some time next year.

Different Folk

A whole handful of my friends have been working really hard to launch Different Folk, a record label in Sioux Falls and their labor of love is about to pay off at their launch party this Saturday, November 14 at 7:00p at Icon Lounge. Tickets are $10 at the door and the event will feature music from Jack Klatt, the Union Grove Pickers, Jami Lynn, Burlap Wolf King and Ryan Kickland Music.

You can read more about Different Folk in 605 Magazine and The Argus Leader.
