Some Music I Liked This Week

Tame Impala

These lovely lads from Australia released a new, almost eight-minute single yesterday that you can download for the mere price of your email address. But thanks to Stereogum, you can also stream the single above. Tame Impala will release a new album later this year and they'll be in Minneapolis on May 13.

Sufjan Stevens

We'll have to wait another two weeks to hear Sufjan Stevens' new album, Carrie & Lowell, so until then, enjoy another intimate single from his seventh studio album.

Broadcast

It's always a treat to learn about a band when they already have a full catalog of music to dig into. In the case of Broadcast, it's bittersweet, because in 2011 they lost their lead singer, Trish Keenan. Four years after Keenan's death, Warp is now reissuing Broadcast's entire discography on LP. Watch Broadcast perform their lead single, "Come On Let's Go", from their debut album, The Noise Made By People. And if you love it, check out everything they have to offer.

LIVE: Rocky Votolato

My coworker and Swamp Thing aficionado, John, organized a living room show for the talented Rocky Votolato on Wednesday, March 25 in the living room of our office space, Ipso Gallery. The Show is limited to 50 tickets and you must purchase in advance, so don't delay in reserving a seat for this unique event.
